Defensive Handgun Level 1 is the beginning of the process of becoming an effective Concealed Carry Permit holder. This handgun course teaches you the employment of a pistol from the waistband holster. This training session goes beyond the world of shooting lanes and static targets, instead focuses on real world application. Marksmanship, defensive mindset, and movement are critical aspects of the training.

USCCA Developing a Personal Protection Plan $25
You will be given information on what to do in the event of a home invasion, how to develop a home defense plan, and what the do’s and don’ts of a home invasion entail. Students will have the chance to participate in a home defense scenario. This is an online class. Link will be provided after registering.
NRA Basic Pistol $150
Learning to shoot the gun you own is critical. This course is for new shooters and individuals looking to learn basic firearm training, including the following: Essential gun safety rules. Different types of pistols and which one is best for you. The basics of ammunition. The fundamentals of pistol shooting. Different shooting positions. The most common shooting errors. Proper gun cleaning and maintenance. How to maintain your skills.
NRA Refuse to be a Victim $50
This 4hr class is not a firearms instruction course and does not include instruction in physical combat self-defense. This NRA seminar will help you understand common weaknesses that criminals may take advantage of, and a variety of corrective measures that are practical, inexpensive and easy to follow. The seminar includes classroom instruction on criminal psychology, automobile crimes; cyber safety, home security, and a variety of crime prevention strategies including carjack avoidance techniques, use of personal safety devices, and more. Students receive the Refuse To Be A Victim® student handbook, NRA Refuse To Be A Victim® brochure, and a course completion certificate.
SC Concealed Weapons Permit $125
This 6-hour Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) class is a comprehensive training course designed to educate individuals on the laws and regulations surrounding the carrying of concealed firearms. The class covers essential topics such as the use of force, firearms safety, and the proper handling and storage of firearms, as well as any specific laws and requirements for obtaining a permit in South Carolina.
Legal Use of Force $10
In this lesson, we will cover important legal topics, including the laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home. Within this lesson, you’ll get a chance to test what you’ve learned, using a few real world scenarios with you as the actor. This is an online class. Link will be provided after registration.
